Special Configurations
There are many times that there are settings that need to be distributed in an Opt-In or Opt-Out fashion that did not fall into the standard “Software Packages” concept. Therefor an additional Software Packages\Special Configurations OU was added within each delegated OU in the WolfTech active Directory Domain.
Here is a list of the -SC- groups and what they are used for:

| NCSU-SC-Apple-QuickTime-Uninstall | Opt-in group to force the uninstall of Quicktime for Windows. Quicktime for Windows has been abandonded. Removal will be enforced October 10, 2017. |
| NCSU-SC-Malwarebytes-Malwarebytes-Uninstall | Opt-in group to force the uninstall of Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes is denied for use on University machines. Removal will be enforced October 10, 2017. |

| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-DirectAccess-OptIn | Opt-in group for use of the Direct Access service. |

| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-Disable SMBv1-ClientServer | Opt-in group for disabling SMB v1 both client and server components. |

| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-Endpoint Protection-OptOut | Opt-Out group for using the System Center Endpoint Protection. All client must follow the University Anti Virus Requirements. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-LAPS-OptOut | Opt-Out group for units not wanting to make use of the LAPS services. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-Logon Banner-OptIn | Opt-in group for displaying the University approved logon banner. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-MBAM-Bitlocker Settings High | Opt-in group for using MBAM for full drive encryption with the High security settings. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-MBAM-Bitlocker Settings Normal | Opt-in group for using MBAM for full drive encryption with the Normal security settings. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-SCCM-Set Cache 10GB | Group to override the default SCCM cache size of 20GB to 10GB, primarily for VM’s and embedded devices. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-SCCM-Set Cache 50GB | Group to override the default SCCM cache size of 20GB to 50GB, primarily for lab environments. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-SUP-AUTO | DEPRECATED Opt-in group to use SCCM for Patching instead of WSUS. See SCCM/WSUS consolidation Sysnews post. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-Update Reboot-OptIn | Opt-in group for allowing SCCM patching to automatically reboot the client. Setting maintenance windows is recommended. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-Weekly Reboot-OptIn | Opt-in group for implementing a Monday at 4am reboot. |
| NCSU-SC-Microsoft-Windows 10 EDU SKU-Upgrade | Group used for the application of the SCCM Configuration baseline that will migrate Windows 10 clients to the Education SKU. |
| NCSU-SC-Piriform-CCleaner-Uninstall | Opt-in group to force the uninstall of CCleaner. CCleaner Free is denied for use on University machines. |
